Day Trip to Camden Ends With Success

This past Saturday a group of us headed to Camden for the day to participate in the Harmon Classics Spring Challenge at the South Carolina Equine Park. Courtney Acker made her Short Stirrup debut on Once In A Blue Moon and came home with some great ribbons in a huge class of 15! Rosa Sansbury and Enchantment were champion of Pre-Child/Adult Equitation and Taylor Lloyd and Avalon won all three classes in the Pre-Child/Adult Hunters (out of 18 entries) and were champion. The day was capped off by Taylor and Avalon placing third in the BRHJA Hunter Derby. Congratulations to all!

Success at March Madness

Despite bad weather starting off the show, all horses and riders were stars when it came time to compete. On Friday Lauren was reserve champion on Jan Seawell's Contiki in the 3' Performance Working Hunters and was also reserve champion on Sarah Grant's III Wishes in the Aiken County Hunters. After a hiatus from riding for 8 years Sarah Grant finished the weekend strong winning a class along with 4 seconds, a third, a fourth, and an eighth in the combined Pre-Child/Adult Hunter.

Good luck to all riders and horses in the upcoming shows in Camden.
